Calling for your actions: Education for Climate Days 2022

The second edition of the Education for Climate Days will happen from the 7th to 9th of November this year

Under the theme of "co-creating learning for climate resilience", each day will focus, from 17:00 to 19:00 CET, on one key Education for Climate issue:

  • Day 1: Why do we need to act urgently? > Climate change challenges

  • Day 2: What should we do to address climate change challenges? > Green education solutions

  • Day 3: How to implement green education solutions? > Innovative implementation actions.

Let us know if you plan to attend by enrolling in the event!

On Day 3 of the Education for Climate Days 2022 we will focus on community actions and ask ourselves “how to implement green education solutions?”

As a community, you will have the opportunity to dive deep into exchanges on this in two dedicated sessions.  Inspire or get inspired in a truly participatory approach.

The first session highlights the state of art in European initiatives. The second session supports and facilitates your country group engagement.

For each session, we are happy to launch a call for input and participation.

Check them out now:

Call 1 - open to all

Community showcase: Calling for innovative green education implementation actions!

For the community showcase session, we want to learn from you what your green education actions are to highlight the state of art in European initiatives. Send in your project and multiply this call - exciting prizes wait for the 3 selected projects (details in the link above)

Call 2 - open to country coordinators

Country group perspectives: Calling for country group action!

It's on us as a community to make a difference together – contribute to and participate in those challenges to bring forward our common drive for #EducationForClimate!

Local support: seeking Country Coordinators for Country Groups

Country Groups in national languages are at the heart of our community.

Together with our EU-27 country coordinators coming from within the community, we were already able to open Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, and Romania. Join them!

Our ambition: to open all remaining EU-27 countries until the Education for Climate Days in November.

Do you aspire to become a country group coordinator of one of the EU-27 Country Groups  not yet open and want to learn more about this role?

Join one of the two onboarding session to get the hands-on knowledge you need to become a coordinator and to open and manage your group together with your fellows
