Dear fellow climate education enthusiasts,

As we come to the end of our very first year as Education for Climate Coalition on this  platform, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past and all that we have accomplished as a community.

It has been an incredibly challenging year, with the ongoing global pandemic, the Russian war against Ukraine, a looming energy crisis as well as the continued threat of climate change.

But despite these challenges, our community has continued to thrive and grow, with many of us finding new ways to co-create tangible education solutions to address the importance of protecting our planet.

We are so grateful to everyone who has contributed to this community endeavour!
To celebrate, we have put together a special compilation of some of our favorite moments from the past year, which you can watch below.

As we look to 2023, we are excited to announce a new initiative: the community challenge incubator. This is a place where you, community members, can come together and suggest your own challenges for the community to tackle, with the goal of promoting creative thinking and collaboration within our community.

Whether you want to co-create a new educational resource, organize a local event, or come up with a unique way to engage others in the fight against climate change, we want to hear your ideas!

The Challenge Incubator

We are so grateful to be able to facilitate and be part of such an amazing community, and we can't wait to see what the coming year will bring.

Thank you all for your continued support and dedication to climate education.

Happy holidays and here's to a bright and hopeful future!

P.p.s: Education counts more than ever for a sustainable future(s) - COP15.

I feel glad to be part of this community and I see that, step by step "we are making (or at least we are trying to make) a difference not only for today's society but also for our next generations", as Mariya Gabriel says.
Let's continue working together on this path.
Happy holidays!!! ❤️????❤️
