Collective action is about acting for change together with others. It calls for coordination, collaboration and cooperation among peers.
It recognises the fundamental role communities and civil society organisations play in achieving sustainability. By acting together and working to achieve the same goal, people can find opportunities and meet challenges to contribute effectively to solving sustainability problems at the local level. Taken together, this will have an impact at the global level.
