Systems Thinking

Systems thinking is to approach a sustainability problem from all sides, considering time, space and context in order to understand how elements interact within and between systems.

Systems thinking is necessary to understand complex sustainability problems and their evolution. It is based on the assumption that parts of a systems act differently when taken apart from the system. Systems thinking allows us to understand reality in relation to other contexts (local, nation, global) and fields (environment, social, economic, cultural).
