In this occasion, the Education for Climate Coalition will hold a dedicated online webinar from 13:30 to 14:30 CET under the title “Education for Climate Coalition: community co-creation for sustainability”.

Office for Climate Education, learning today for a better tomorrow - ft. David Wilgenbus
David Wilgenbus is the Chief executive officer of the Office for Climate Education (OCE), a category 2 centre under the auspices of UNESC0 supporting education system worldwide in promoting and implementing climate change education based on solid scientific knowledge (IPCC reports for the most).

Sustainability Accelerator Programme : be the change you wish, ft. Wieneke Maris
Wieneke Maris is a passionate geography teacher about teaching sustainability. She recently went on a year tour of Europe from August 2022 to July 2023, visiting schools and organisations in 15 European countries.
She wanted to learn and share knowledge and experiences about education for sustainability, but also to set up network of teachers on sustainable education and contribute to the Erasmus project she is involved in, the Sustainability Accelerator Programme” (SAP).

Technopolis Group and 3s have been commissioned by the European Commission to carry out a study that is aimed at exploring how working with GreenComp, the European Sustainability Competence Framework which helps advance the development of learner and educator sustainability competences in different settings and at different levels of education.

Tech for Green Cities: Writing Contest
L4Y Learning For Youth is implementing the project "Youth Participation for Developing Sustainable Green Cities".
The "GreenTech Solutions to Local Problems" is a writing contest that encourages young people who care about the planet and enjoy writing to develop solutions for local environmental issues. Deadline: 31 January 2024!
Recap: The Education for Climate Community at the 6th European Education Summit
The 6th European Education Summit was held on 30 November 2023 in Brussels. Its ambition was to discuss and outline paths towards a more inclusive and impactful European Education Area (EEA) under the theme "The European Education Area: A reality for all."
The sustainability focal point of the summit was the panel hosted by the EducationForClimate Coalition, titled "Driving change, aiming for impact: Transforming green education for a sustainable future."
