"Gaming with AI and climate change": the starring participants of the second season of the Youth Climate LAB (YCL) will present during this Café their practical recommendations and the pilot learning scenario.

GreenComp ongoing activities – summer recap

The GC community is still working on the creation of learning scenarios or similar materials around GreenComp (check the comments) and on mapping existing assessment tools based on the GreenComp framework (you need to log in to access both links).

As a little summer present, we would also like to give you the possibility to download, edit and share a self- certification for all GreenComp community members!

Education for Climate TALKS of the month

University for SDGs, an Innovative idea of cooperation – ft. Noemi Grippi and Alessandro Padovan

Find out from two of its members what the University for the SDGs is all about. 
This recent Italian organisation aims to create an interdisciplinary network of young leaders and professionals to promote the Sustainable Development Goals through the organisation of activities and events involving academia, businesses, institutions and third sector entities.

Learning platform on Low Carbon Travel - ATRE project

Tourism is responsible for around 10% of greenhouse gas emissions worldwide and is a key economic sector in many regions. 

The objectives of ERASMUS+ project "Acting for European Responsible Tourism (ATRE) are to mobilise a network of European stakeholders interested in the sustainable development of tourism and to co-produce tools to educate adults in the issue.

Art, Design & Sustainability – ARDES project

The Erasmus+ ARDES project developed and validated a short learning program (SLP) for higher education about Art, Design & Sustainability.

The open-access course was peer-reviewed by experts in the fields of design and environmentalism, and was successfully validated in a project pilot with more than 130 students and 10 teachers.

NBS Education Summit

The NBS Education Summit on 26 September 2024 is a pivotal conference at the intersection of science, policy, and Nature-based Solutions (NBS) practice. 

This hybrid event will present interim insights from the project NBS EduWORLD, culminating in policy recommendations and guidelines for EU policymakers.
