The Secretariat and Community Roles

The Education for Climate Secretariat is there to steer, drive, co-design and co-implement with you the ambitious vision and mission as laid out in the co-designed community manifesto: 

  • inspire, develop and draw on innovative European education capabilities in the within the five Coalition priorities: train teachers bridge education with science develop green skills and competences raise awareness and change behaviours

  • co-create, facilitate and foster a community led by students and teachers with their schools and networks and other educational actors 

  • bridge fragmentation between education sectors, domains and people 

Our aspiration is to embrace a participatory approach to facilitate the community as organically and sustainably as possible to follow-up on our collective ambition to “decide collectively, act collaboratively and adapt sustainably”.
